Details: Nikolai A. VINOKUROV is Doctor of Physics and Mathematics, Professor; heads a laboratory with the Budker Institute of Nuclear Physics SB RAS (Novosibirsk). Professor at Novosibirsk State University. He is a specialist in the field of physics and technology of free electron lasers (FELs). He supervised not only the creation of all FELs in the Novosibirsk Scientific Center, but also the construction of the world’s smallest FEL for the Atomic Energy Research Institute In Korea. For more than ten years, Professor Vinokurov has been Russia’s representative in the Organizing Committees of international conferences devoted to FELs. He is a laureate of the International Prize on Free Electron Lasers (1991), of the Compton Prize (1995), and of the State Prize of the Russian Federation (2010). Awarded the Order of Friendship (2007). Author and co-author of about 200 scientific publications (including 150 articles in international journals)
